I can write a cursive capital Z.
I must be weird. I still write in my own weird form of cursive when cursive is going the way of the dinosaurs. It’s a half-breed between cursive and print. I don’t like the way some letters look or are written in cursive (Z, Q, and b’s). I’ll mix print and cursive in the same word. You’ll see in my sermon notebook Jesus spelled with a cursive ‘s’ and a print ‘s’. I also have short hand for ‘ing’.
But at the end of the day – I like writing by hand. In college I preferred hand writing papers than typing them. I rather hand write my sermon notes than type them. I hand write my quiet times in a journal. I hope to hand write letters to my girlfriend/fiance/wife. Call me old-fashion, strange, throw-back, whatever. I find that there’s something intimate and personal about handwriting. I must be weird.
