Inspiration
At my friends wedding this past weekend, the best-man talked about how the groom and bride encourage him to love God more and remind him of daily grace. I started thinking of my best friends. We don’t often talk about God or how we’re doing spiritually. However, I’m encouraged whenever I see my brothers. I see them faithfully serving Jesus in their callings. I see them tired from pouring everything out physically in service to the Kingdom. We spur one another on to beat our bodies and make them our slaves so that we can feast on Jesus. I remember the passion of our youth when we were on fire to serve our dorm and small groups as undergrads. Though we may soon be parting ways, it was with these guys that I learned what it means to serve and sacrifice. Hopefully we can continue to spur one another on toward love and good deeds and encourage one another wherever we may be.
