This is why I keep going

Today one of my old small group members was baptized. I think back to when she accepted Christ and the longest week of my life. Even a year after, emotions still well up when I think about all that happened. I was tearing up as she recounted what happened. I was crying as I thought of her and all that God has done and will do in her life as we sang the closing songs. It’s the chance to be involved with people like her and situations like this that drive me to keep serving. It’s not easy but it’s more than worth it to be involved in the amazing things that God does.
PS. Yes I’m a sap and according to Cecilia, that’s why I’m so lovable.
PSS. I hear she made other people cry too so I’m not the only one.
