Remember Remember
3 years ago on this “day” Caroline Yoon, a CFC Alumna, died in a motorcycle accident on campus. She was a class girl and a fellow 6 packer. I remember walking around the Frats that day to get to my car. Their yards were littered with plastic drinking cups. I remember driving some lost intoxicated out-of-state student from the FAR graveyards to somewhere in Champaign. I remember the next morning at Servants Meeting when we heard the news. I remember hearing Ms. Kim talk about it. I remember my now-roommate reading the end of Hebrews 11 while choking back tears. I remember being frustrated and angry at this campus and the world. I remember hoping her death would change all this, would change Unofficial. I remember hoping that her blood would be the water for the seeds of the Gospel on this campus.
I still hope that this campus can change. I still hope that the Gospel will come to this campus. I still hope that people here will come to find Jesus.
I know this campus will change. I know the Gospel will come to this campus. I know that people here will see Jesus because I know that Jesus is coming back and he will change all this.
