Day 6
Today we arrived at Mykonos. Its a really small island. We walked all around the city in the course of a few hours. I liked the architecture of the island. The houses were all white plaster with blue trim. Very nice. Inside some of the houses had courtyards with trees and plants. The more I see these different buildings the more I want to make my house like these. We walked around some more looking at the different stores and eateries looking for gyros. There were all these fancy places to eat but none of them looked that good. However we eventually found a “hole” in the wall place that had gyros for 2.20 euros and it was GOOD. The pita was fresh and crispy and the pork (no lamb) was good. Much better than Niros.
After dinner we had time before the show so we went into the casino to kill some time. My dad gave me $1 to spend on the 2c slot machine. The spins went my way and I left with about $12. I gave my dad $1.25 for his investment. I gave some money to my sis and mom to spend on other slots and I tried out some other ones too. In the end we walked away with $6 earnings. Not a bad return on $1. If only I could do that with $100.
