Countdown

I have less than a week before I leave for Kenya. I’m pretty excited. I think about the last time I was in Africa. I remember doing my QT’s in the morning by this tree that sat by the orphanage we were building that overlooked our campsite. The quiet mornings reading and thinking about Abraham before all the hard work started. I remember riding the truck out to store house where we sewed bags of maiz and seeing the sun illuminate the purplish mountains beyond the horizon.
Yeah, I’m excited. More than the work or anything, I really just want to meet God in Kenya.
