Sledding
I went sledding w/ a bunch of guys this afternoon. It was mad fun. Made me feel like a little kid. Doing races, trying to stand up on swirly sleds, having frozen hands, feet, and knees. AH – Winter time. Too bad the hills here are pretty small. That was like my front yard back at home except for a longer flat part. My “flat part” is the street. I remember we would carve “tubes” in our backyard through the woods and bobsled w/ our sled so we wouldn’t hit trees. And then we’d crash into our house if we didn’t bail out in time. *sigh* I like winter. Except for the horrible plowing jobs they do here in Champaign. Took like 2 days for the streets to be normal. You’d think Illinois would be prepared for snow. Oh well – Spring will soon be here. And hopefully warm weather.
