2 is Good Enough
I just finished my first season of basketball and we finished 2nd on a missed ball rolling around the rim as time expired. I enjoyed my team. They made playing fun and taught me more about organized basketball. I don’t know if I’ll play next year but I’ll make that decision when the time comes.
The best in our game was when Ingi airballed it, got the ball on a bounce, tipped it to Suggey for a basket. Then on our next offensive, he made a lay-up. The whole crowd went nuts. Everyone jumped up and started screaming. It was awesome. He definately won the hearts of the crowd. It made me think of what we play for. Some people play for the win. They want to be Summer league champs and the respect that goes with it. Some people play for the name. They want to be the best. Others play for that someone special in the crowd watching. Everyone else doesn’t matter. Haha, you can probably guess what I play for. But seriously, it’s all about the team. In the last few games, I only played one third of each game, which did add up to a whole game for the number of games we played. I’m a team player and I want what’s best for the team. It was definately nice to get back into organized sports.
I’m thinking about getting a set of headphones/earbuds. The question is, I already have a nice set of Sennheiser HD497.
I was checking out earbuds (or IEM’s or whatever other fancy term they have for the different styles) and the the Sennhesier CX300 seem pretty good.
The one quality I really look for is bass because it’s usually hard to get a set that will have good bass. But I also don’t have a headset with a mic which I could use for voice comm. I also need a headset for my phone. The CX300 will set me back $50 and I’ve already dropped $70 on my HD497′s albeit that was 3 years ago. Then I’d still need to get a headset (or two). Dang, I’m like bleeding money as fast as I’m making it. (also purchased a new guitar (most of the money from ‘rents as graduation gift) and a new monitor (money from tax refund) with in the last month).
