Each Chapter is better than the Last

All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia had only been the cover of the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before.”
This is a quote for The Chronicles of Narnia, The Last Battle. I love it because it captures the essence of life. Each day, each year should be better than the last. Looking forward to this coming semester, I see many hardships, trials, and suffering, but at the same time I see hope, opportunities, and chances for growth. I’m armed with a year’s worth of knowledge and experience to make this semester, this year, better than the last. If I’m not growing forward, I’m wasting incredible opportunities of God. May this next chapter in my life be better than the last because I know God has amazing things in store for me and I’m excited for them to come.
