Somebody needs to die.
I can’t believe this. This just adds to my hatred for the journalistic society and media. If you’re too lazy to read the article I’m about the rant about, I suggest you do. It’s about capitalistic Newsweek and their article they published 2 weeks ago. There’s some bastard journalist that is willing to publish rumors “As long as you make a name for yourself as an Investagotory Journalist no matter how many people you leave dead and bloodied along the way as long as you make a name for yourself as an Investagory Journalist no matter how many you leave deadand bloodied along the way!” All jokes aside, they didn’t bother to confirm their sources because they were in such a rush to publish this great story about how the US Military committed atrocities against the Koran at Guantanamo Bay which lead to riots and protests in Pakistan and Afghanistan and 17+ people killed and 100 more injuried. And now you offer your “retraction and apology” and you think that’s gonna fix anything? How about you retract those 17 deaths, oh wait, you can’t. Those people are dead and you can’t do anything about it because you rushed to get the latest story which turned out to be false and unconfirmed. Tell that to our military who risk their lives day in and day out to help turn Afghanistan into a democracy after months and you wreck it all in a week. Tell that to the widows and fatherless that you don’t care about our country and the harm you caused our already poor global image all because you disregarded your “journalistic standards” if there even are any. Instead of offering your apologies, how about your put your hands where your mouth is and try to fix the problems you created. Go over to Pakistan and Afghanistan and tell them you lied about the US Gov’s mishandle of the Koran. Tell them you published made-up stories about their sacred book being flushed down a toliet and see how much sympathy you get. Or are you too scared you’ll end up like one of the 17 dead because of your actions. Capitalistic pigs rushing out there to get the latest and greatest story by publishing rumors and burying the country that gives you freedom of press which you abuse. You make me sick.
