Cherry Blossoms
I went to check out the cherry blossoms in DC yesterday. It’s a little late as the Festival was last week and it showed. The blossoms were still there but it didn’t look like how website showed it. It was nice but I don’t see how you can make a festival out of it. Here’s a picture of the Jefferson Memorial across the river.
It’s off centered cuz there were all these people and I didn’t want them in my picture. And here’s me with Cindy, my penpal from elementary school.

After that, we went to SALT and they had a Fear Factor game night. It was pretty cool and they had some pretty gross games. Among the gross games was making chocalate milk in your mouth and another person drinking it, pie eating with a special surprise of meal worms and grasshoppers, bobbing for tripe in vinegar. The last one smelled SO bad. It reeked. It wasn’t straight vinegar but 1:3 vinegar to water and still smelled really strong. Two cool games was a blind folded human wheelbarrow obstacle course and a leg wrestling contest. The former was hilarious cuz the one girl on my team kept banging her head on every obstacle (including chairs, pillars, walls, and pool tables). It was cool seeing friends I haven’t seen in over a year. I also found out two friends are applying to where I’m working now as linguists. It’d be hot if they got hired and I got refferal bonuses for it.
