AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I just had like 5 heart attacks watching the Illinois game. That was crazy. I had almost lost hope, down 15 with 4 minutes to go and then we had some stellar defense which led to turnovers and made overtime and then we stored and stopped them at the buzzer and we’re going to St. Louis!!!! Crazy!
Good Friday was good. The service at CBCM was just what I needed. I didn’t spend enough time during the week meditating. I’m glad they gave us time to pray and meditate during the service. Fasting was ok, I wasn’t really hungery till Friday night, probably cuz I knew I was going to eat. Next year, I’ll think I’ll do 5 days. We’ll see. The progessive fasting probably helped also. First year I’ve actually fasted something. Freshman year I started going to Thursday night prayer meetings for Lent. Soph yr, I think I tried reading the NT. Last year I went to MP 4/5 days a week. This year I did a modified Daniel Fast. But Thank you Jesus! Make me hungry for more of you. A heart inclined to God.
I’ve had some crazy Settlers win over the last 2 days. One game I spanked them 10-7-5-3. I was pestered by robbers the whole game but the resources were flowing so it didn’t hurt that much. One game I had 6 points, bought 5 dev cards and won with 4 VP’s. Crazy. Another game I came from behind. I was out gained on resources 64-93-72-76. No one saw me coming building a city for pt7 then next turn playing my 3rd soldier and VP for the win to jump over to a 10-9-8-7. I’ve got a 1690 ranking now to show.
