Interesting studies. Micro$oft isn’t as bad as everyone makes them out to believe.
Windows web server more secure than linux webserver I believe the stipulation here is it’s a configuration that the avg. user would use and not some specialist. ie. me cuz I’m WAY too lazy to go through the gabillion .conf files in linux to lock something down.
Of other note: Firefox isn’t faster than IE Infact, in many instances, IE is faster than Firefox. I’ve noticed this and I”m thoroughly disappointed w/ the load times of firefox. Honestly it takes way too long to load but yet I still use it. I should really switch to K-meleon which I do have installed but not set to my default browser. It uses the same rendering engine (I believe) yet loads a heck of alot faster (probably due to the already running loader. But yeah, it’ll save me like 4 seconds from clicking the shortcut to my browser appearing on the screen (un-minimizing as well for that matter).
Last note: I’m taking a class and we got internet shut off by the internet. Someone had complained to the universities headquarters of malicious activity coming from us. I guess that’s what happens when you’re taking a Web Hacking Class
