I’m a material girl living in a material world
It’s black Friday, infamous shopping day. It’s amazing how many people got up early to shop. There were 15-20 people lined up outside Staples before the stored opened. I would know, I was the first in line. It’s amazing what people would wake up for, what I would wake up for. I got up at 0530 to go to staples to pick up some stuff, but I couldn’t wake up that early any other time this week to pray and read my Bible. I’ve tried waking up at 8 or 9 only to fall back asleep. It goes to show how this world, my heart including is so materialistic. I was repenting last night for my materialism and sorta redeemed it by finishing up Psalms this morning after shopping. That puts me in Isaiah now because I read Proverbs, Ecclessiasties and Song of Solomon before Psalms.
