Shout’s not that good.

September 21st, 2004

I was going to write about how I bought Photoshop CS but something better came up today. This morning I woke up at 0630, way too early for my 0830 class so I decided to go back to sleep, upon turning around, I noticed my pillow case was red. My nose had bled last night. I decided that I was too tired to do anything about it so I slept on it. I woke up an hr later and ran it through some hot water, which I realized later was supposed to be cold water, but anyways. That got out some of the ‘fresher’ blood but there was still a fair amount left. I decided to soak it in a cup and wait till this afternoon when I could use Jon’s Shout (wow, that took me a long time to find cuz I was reading old entries and getting blessed at all the ‘lame’ stuff I write about my life.) I get back from class at like 1700 and get Jon’s Shout and proceed to clean my pillowcase. Now if you read that link to my other post, you’d know how great this Shout gel is. As I’m scrubbing my pillowcase, the blood’s not coming out. It’s stained on there. Thinking about how great this Shout gel is made me really wonder about the power of blood. This blood covered my pillowcase and didn’t want to leave. It was on there and that Shout wasn’t getting it off. It got my thinking about a blood that stains and never goes away. The blood of my savior Jesus is permantly stained on my heart and no matter how hard I try, it’s not coming off. I can run away and reject him and sail to Tarish, but it’ll still be there, reminding me of his incredible sacrifice. I was getting so blessed while furiously scrubbing to get the blood off.

Ah … the incredible blood of my Savior who washes away my sins and covers me.

Joe did laundry later and the blood did come out eventually. It’s a good thing Jesus’s blood is stronger than mine.
