Hurricane Isabel

So I went thru a Cat-2 Hurricane this past few days. It wasn’t that bad in our area, just knocked out a bunch of power. However Annapolis was underwater. One guy who went there said that the water level on the street was up to his waist when he first got there. That’s crazy. Wish I went out to see if. Of course where you drive/park with water that high up. Craziness. Here I’ll list a bunch of great stuff to do (I did) during a hurricane.

10. Be the only government agency who STILL had to work the day of the hurricane.
9. Make fun of the storm cuz there aren’t any trees flying around.
8. Play Diablo2 online while your internet keeps going on and off.
7. Sleep while the power is on and sit around while the power is out.
6. Learn to play Eurker around a single candle.
5. Drive around town w/ broken traffic lights. Makes for long drives.
4. Go shopping at malls that don’t have power.
3. Finish cooking eggs just as the power goes out.
2. Sleep all day and all night cuz there’s no power to do anything anyways.
1. Go out in the middle of the hurricane to a movie theater w/ power and watch a movie.
So if you ever find yourself in a hurricane and need things to do (or not to do) try out this great list of stuff. It’s all been tested before so it’s “should” be safe.
